Kings vs. Canadiens Pick | Dec 10, 2013
The Montreal Canadiens enter this game red-hot having won 5 games in a row and 9 of their last 10. The Kings have also been playing good hockey having won 3 in a row. The Kings defeated the Islanders 3-0 on Saturday and Kings rookie goaltender Martin Jones got his first career shutout. We should see Jones back in goal tonight for the Kings. Quick is injured for L.A. right now and Scrivens has been filling in but it looks as though Scrivens will be held back and get the start tomorrow night vs. the Leafs (his former team). Expect to see Price in goal for the Habs. Currently the Canadiens are a -122 (or 1.82) favorite o win at 5 Dimes Sportsbook & -126 (or 1.79) at Betonline Sportsbook. We like the Canadiens in this spot and the short price. They catch a Kings team travelling from the West coast to the East coast (never a good situation for the team travelling) and the Habs are clearly playing their best hockey of the season. We like the Canadiens to make it 7 straight wins at the Bell Centre.
